My favorite time to visit the ocean is in the middle of the winter. In New Hampshire, where I grew up, even when everything else is frozen and silent, the waves of the Atlantic continuously crash and the tides still change. It reminds me that the oceans are vast universes filled with life.
 
The immenseness of the oceans does not protect them from exploitation by humans. Environmental problems facing the oceans today are real and detrimental. However, I believe in people’s ability to change with access to the right information, education, and reasons to do so.
 
I am thrilled to help spread knowledge about ocean conservation, to work with people committed to reversing the negative impact humans have on the oceans and ocean creatures, and to use my graphic design degree for the meaningful cause of ocean advocacy.
