I believe there is nothing more beautiful than a day at the beach or a thriving coral reef.  One of my favorite things to do is throw frisbees in the surf at Morse Beach in Maine. I think the North shore of Maine is probably the best.   I became passionate about the oceans when I was living in Key West, FL, and then in Portland, ME near the coast. I can see the beach in Maine and I feel refreshed thinking about the icy water!

My favorite ocean animals are sea turtles! I came to love them at the turtle hospital in the Florida Keys. And, they need a lot of love.   My favorite snorkeling spot is Buck Island on St. Croix, US Virgin Islands.

Oceana's approach to ocean problems is so comprehensive, from research to policy, and the employees are incredibly cause-driven and focused. I believe I have a supporting role at Oceana, but I bring enthusiasm and a true love of oceans to the team.
