Climate Change Intern
Description
Oceana seeks a Climate Change Intern to assist in developing a strategy for addressing climate issues as they pertain to oceans. The intern will assist on a variety of projects including writing, editing, researching and possibly policy work.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Great researching, writing and communication skills
- A good understanding of climate change
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Enthusiasm for environmental work
- Familiarity with MS Office applications
Interns should be able to work 30 hours a week for at least 10 weeks. Stipends are available. Oceana accepts interns who earn academic credit for their internship. College students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
